Lisa Shaw is a physician by background and now a researcher based with the Stroke Research Group at Newcastle University. She has expertise in the design, management and analysis of clinical studies.

Lisa attends our enquiry and management meetings. She helps to examine whether a new enquiry addresses an unmet clinical need and whether the proposed project is within our remit. Lisa also contributes to our Evidence Generation for Diagnostics Development training course where she delivers a session about delivering clinical studies. The Stroke Research Group is also currently collaborating with the HRC on studies to evaluate diagnostics for stroke.
