Management group

The management team, a multi-disciplinary group of experts and stakeholders, provide strategic guidance to the core team, and meet on a monthly basis. The meetings are chaired by the co-directors Prof. John Simpson and Dr Andrew Sims. They serve as a forum for transparent information sharing and discussion and sometimes include a presentation from external guests.

The group discuss:

  • Updates from the clinical themes, the methodology team and all relevant stakeholders
  • Latest enquiries including forthcoming grant and project opportunities
  • Progress against milestones
  • The financial position of the HRC
  • Progress against plans for annual HRC events and meetings with other infrastructure
