Our Research Inclusion strategy
Research Inclusion is very important to us and we are committed to embedding it in everything we do. Our vision is to be a diverse and inclusive organisation that represents our communities, enables fair and impartial access to healthcare and in which all people leading, delivering, and involved in our research can thrive.
To deliver our vision, we have developed a Research Inclusion strategy with five objectives:
1. Embed Research Inclusion in every layer of our organisation
2. Extend our reach and make it easy for a diverse range of the public to get involved and participate in our research
3. Further develop and sustain a culture that is inclusive and supportive so we can attract the best people and create a highly skilled diverse workforce
4. Understand and take action to eliminate any barriers to diversity in our training, research, and delivery
5. Collaborate with partners to maximise the relevance and impact of our research
